La signification de Al-Mouwatta est « ce qui est rendu facile ».
Ce livre de l’Imam Malik nommĂ© Al-Mouwatta Ă©tait aussi le premier livre composĂ© dans le hadith et la jurisprudence en mĂȘme temps.
C’est-Ă -dire qu’il y avait dans le mĂȘme livre les hadith du ProphĂšte (salla l-Lahou ‘alayhi wa sallam) et la jurisprudence.
Il est resté à le composer pendant quarante années.
Il comporte beaucoup de chaĂźnes de transmission que les spĂ©cialistes de hadith, les mouhaddith ont jugĂ©es comme Ă©tant les plus authentiques des hadith.Ach-Chafi’i a dit au sujet du livre Al-Mouwatta : « Il n’est pas paru sur terre un livre aprĂšs le livre de Allah –le Qour-an– qui soit plus authentique que le livre de Malik ».Dans son Ă©poque, il a Ă©tĂ© dit : « Est-ce que les gens Ă©mettent des avis de jurisprudence alors qu’il y a Malik Ă  MĂ©dine !
»Sa naissance et sa biographieIl est surnommĂ© Abou ‘Abdi l-Lah le pĂšre de ‘Abdou l-Lah.
Il s’appelle Malik fils de Anas fils de Abou ‘Amir Anas fils de Al-Harith fils de Ghayman Al-Asbahi Al-Madani.Son ascendance remonte jusqu’à Ya’rab fils de Yachjab fils de Qahtan.
Son ancĂȘtre s’appelle Malik fils de Anas.
Il fait parti des grands successeurs des compagnons et d’un de ceux qui ont portĂ© le corps de ‘Outhman Ibnou ‘Affan que Allah l’agrĂ©e, de nuit jusqu’à sa tombe tout comme cela a Ă©tĂ© mentionnĂ© par Al-Qouchayri.Le pĂšre de son grand-pĂšre c’est le compagnon ‘Abou Malik qui a Ă©tĂ© au cĂŽtĂ© du ProphĂšte (salla l-Lahou ‘alayhi wa sallam) dans les diffĂ©rentes batailles mis Ă  part celle de Badr.Quand Ă  la mĂšre de l’Imam Malik, elle s’appelle Al-‘Aliyah fille de Charik fils de ‘Abdou r-Rahman Al-Asdiyah.Les fils de l’Imam Malik sont Yahya, Mouhammad et Hammad.L’Imam Malik est le fondateur de l’une des quatre Ă©coles de jurisprudence qui a Ă©tĂ© conservĂ©e, rĂ©putĂ©e et diffusĂ©e dans les pays des musulmans.L’Imam Malik est nĂ© Ă  MĂ©dine l’IlluminĂ©e en l’an 95 de l’hĂ©gire.

Il Ă©tait restĂ© Ă  donner des avis de jurisprudence, Ă  enseigner aux gens, tant que plusieurs de ses Chaykh ont rapportĂ© de lui –c’est-Ă -dire qu’ils lui ont donnĂ© la science et il avait appris de chez d’autres et il leur avait transmis Ă  leur tour–.Comme Mouhammad Ibnou Chihab Az-Zouhri, comme Rabi’ah Ibnou Abi ‘Abdi r-Rahman le spĂ©cialiste de jurisprudence des gens de MĂ©dine, comme Yahya Ibnou Sa’id Al-Ansari, comme Mouça Ibnou ‘Ouqbah et beaucoup d’autres ont rapportĂ© de lui, tant que le Qadi ‘Iyad a composĂ© un livre dans lequel il avait dĂ©nombrĂ© mille trois cent noms de ceux qui ont rapportĂ© de l’Imam Malik, que Allah l’agrĂ©e.Les plus connus d’entre eux Ă©taient Soufyan Ath-Thawri et encore l’Imam le Moujtahid Mouhammad Ibnou Idris Ach-Chafi’i et ‘Abdou l-Lah Ibnou l-Moubarak.Al-Muwatta BookThis is the first book that was written to collect hadith classified by chapters.
